A 2 day Saturday Zoom course with Katherine Lockton
Are you struggling to find the time and space for poetry? Do you need a bit of encouragement and support? Is it time to take your writing more seriously? Would you like to learn how to take your writing to the next level?
Join a session that shows you how to up your writing game while leaving you uplifted at the end of each session. The course runs over two Saturday sessions – the first will be on 6th Feb and 6th March for intermediate/advanced level; then a beginners course on 9th April and 7th May. There will be a maximum of 12 people on the course. The cost of the course is £90.00.
These Saturday Zoom workshops consist of group feedback sessions where you have the chance to develop your editing skills by critiquing each other’s work in a friendly and nurturing environment and homework to help you grow your portfolio of work.
You will be asked to bring poems you have written to each session.
Monthly sessions on Saturdays 10.30am – 4.30pm.
6 February and 6 March for Intermediate/Advanced Course
9 April and 7 May for Beginners Course
This course will take place on video-conferencing platform, ZOOM. There will be a break for lunch and two comfort breaks within the session.

About Katherine Lockton
Katherine Lockton is a poetry editor and publisher. Katherine’s work has most recently appeared in The Glasgow Review of Books, Northwords Now, Magma, Poem magazine, The Spectator, PN Review and Ink, Sweat and Tears. She co-edited (with Carlo Pirozzi) an anthology of new Scottish war poems ‘Like Leaves in Autumn’ published by Luath Press. Her debut collection ‘Paper Doll’ was published in September 2020.
