A very rewarding workshop on ‘The Lost City’ with Katherine Lockton. I came home with the bare bones if not more, of new poems I wasn’t expecting.
I made the 240-mile rail journey in order to attend the August initial workshop led by Katherine Lockton, with Peter Ebsworth present too, as well as an amiable group of subscribers, and can heartliy recommend it as a day well-spent in inspired leadership, with like-minded company. The venue is good too for its own sake and because it is situated in one of my favourite districts of the capital for literary associations. A bargain at a very reasonable price, just as South Bank Poetry, The Magazine, is too, which you can reach via the SBP webpage.
A really fantastic workshop and so well organised and run. Amazing how Katherine Lockton created an environment, that enabled everyone to share their writing.
Really stimulating and well judged for content, timing, exercises, etc. Great ‘prompts’ too: different photos, herb & spice pots, colour charts as well as the range of poems
