On your right to take up space and writing your perfect image

What is the relationship between the blank page and imagery? How does your relationship with one influence the other?

Explore your relationship to the blank page and let yourself write the way you want to write.

Through close exploration and reading of a wide range of interesting and exciting poems, followed by several writing exercises, this class will inspire you to grow in confidence as a writer.

While looking at different ways to create and play around with images in our poems we will look at ways we can let the reader see what we see.

We will read poems by Emily Berry, Mary Oliver, Carol Ann Duffy and Don Paterson among other poets to inspire us to create poetry of our own.
